RW G. Michael Tydus
District Deputy Grand Master - 7th District
The Reverend G. Michael Tydus, 33rd is an ordained elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. His ministry has
spanned over four decades, and he has pastored three churches. At present, he serves the William Jacob Walls Memorial AME
Zion Church in Buffalo, New York.
Brother Tydus is an educator. He has been in the field of education for thirty years. He has taught both History and English.
He started his teaching career in the Boston Public School system. At present, he works for the Buffalo Public School
system, where he started out teaching high school English, and now as an Assistant Principal.
He was raised a Master Mason in Paramount Lodge No. 73. He severed four terms as Worshipful Master. He is a
Past Thrice Potent Master, Past Most Wise and Perfect Master, and Past Commander-in-Chief of Bison Consistory #29.
He is a Past High Priest of Companion Chapter #35. He is member of the Royal and Select Master in
Alton J. Bennett Council #25. In 2004, he was elevated to the thirty-third and last degree of masonry.
He served in the United States Air Forces Reserve as a Chaplain for twenty-four years. He retired at the rank of Lieutenant
Colonel. During his career, he received several awards and commendations. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History
and English from McKendree College. He attended Boston University School of Theology and earned a Master of Theology
degree. He earned a second masters degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in the area of Educational
Administration, where he has also done advance studies in Educational Administration.
He is a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc where he has served on the local, regional, and national level.
Among his several activities, he works diligently to get students in to college.











RW William Austin, Sr.
District Deputy Grand Master - 3rd District
R.W. William Austin Was born in Edna Alabama 1942, graduated Indian Spring High School in 1961. R.W. Austin moved to
Peekskill New York September 1962, where he was employed by veteran administration hospital Montrose, New York, he
work for city of Peekskill D.P.W. for twenty five years where retired in 2002, is now working for the Croton Harmon School
District as a bus driver,
He is a member of Park Street A.M.E. Zion Church in Peekskill,l New York where he is Chairman of Trustee Broad.
His Masonic affiliations are, Corinthian Lodge No. 44 in April 1972 where he became the Worshipful Master in 1977. member
of Three Square Chapter No. 23 Holy Royal Arch Mason in 1975 in Yonkers New York, Pentecost Consistory No. 98
A.A.S.R. in MT. Vernon New York , R.W. Austin joins Elejmal Temple No.185 in August 1975 AEOANMS and served as the
Iillustrious Potentate in 1994 again in 2008 as Worshipful Master of Corinthian Lodge second time after been out chair for
over thirty years.
R.W. Austin has served six difference grand masters as a District Deputy Grand Master. And is still serving at the present
time.




RW Walter E. Jackson
District Deputy Grand Master - 1st District
Father, Husband, Grandfather, College Graduate with a degree in Marketing Management. Currently employed at White
Plains Hospital Center, Patient Accounts Department as a Account Receivable Specialist, receiving all payments from
Insurance Companies and verifying all daily Bank Deposits.
Served as Superintendence of Sunday School at His House of Worship, also served on various committees ie Budget &
Finance, Building renovation, Transportation.
He is a Past Grand Lodge Trustee of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New York, and currently serves as
a DDGM of the 1st Masonic District. RW Walter "E" Jackson is a Past Master of Cornerstone Lodge No.37, serving as the
Lodge Secretary for the past 10 years.

RW Leslie A. Moore, Sr.
District Deputy Grand Master - 4th District
Leslie A. Moore, Sr. has accomplishments that seem to surpass the number of years he has been on this earth. He has the
rare ability of completing 48 hours of work in a 24 hour day. Leslie, known to his family and friends as "Let", has a quiet
demeanor and a winning smile that serve as an invitation into his world of friendship and brotherly love.
Let is proud, as are we, of his love of family, Masonry and of his community. He is blessed with a devoted
wife of twenty-six years, Ramona, three children and three grandchildren.
His Masonic successes can only be described as impressive. Let is currently serving as District Deputy Grand Master
under the Most Worshipful Dr. Gregory R. Smith. He also served in this capacity under Past Grand Master Bernard L. Holley.
The years 2000, 2002 and 2006 were devoted to serving as the elected Worshipful Master of Tyre Lodge No. 91 located in
Riverhead. Let's knowledge of the ritualistic work of Masonry is exemplary, and he is always ready to share this
knowledge at moment's notice, with his brethren whenever they call.
In addition, he has served many years as Special District Deputy Grand Master, has participated on Grand Lodge committees
for Masonic education, is a member of Tyre Chapter No. 62 Order of the Eastern Stars, is Past High Priest of Royal East No. 36
of Royal Arch Masons (currently serving as King), a member of the Long Island Consistory No. 61 and member of the local
Order of the Riverhead 1742 Moose Lodge.
Let has been a member of the Riverhead Fire Department Eveready Engine Company No. 3 for 25 years. During these years
he has often placed himself in harm's way in order to preserve the lives and property of members of the community serving
as a member in the Marine Division and its Heavy Rescue Unit.
In his spare time Let enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and motorcycle riding.



RW Richard Gilliard
District Deputy Grand Master - 3rd District
Richard Gilliard, born in Green Bay, South Carolina, to Simon and Mary Gilliard. He is the oldest of thirteen children. He
spent his early childhood in Green Bay, Charleston and Mount Pleasant South Carolina. He is a graduate of Laing High
School, Commercial Trades Institute of Chicago, Illinois, IBM School for Technical Development and CompuMax (Microsoft
Certified System Engineer).
In South Carolina, he was a member of Greater Zion A.M.E. Church and served as Assistant Sunday School
Superintendent.
In 1962, he moved to Monticello, New York. He is married to the former Clara B. McNeil, his childhood sweetheart. They
are the proud parents of Marvin, Renet and Derrick (decease) and the grandfather of McKenzie and Madison. He and his
wife reside in Poughkeepsie, New York.
R. W. Gilliard is a member of the Smith Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church where he serves as the Pastor Steward. He is a
former member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and an adult instructor for the Community Action Group in Monticello,
New York. R.W. Gilliard is a charter member and Past Master of Bethany Lodge No. 101, South Fallsburg, New York and is
now serving as secretary. He is Past Commander in Chief of Pentecost Consistory No. 98, Past Potentate of Elejmal
Temple No. 185, A.E.A.O.N.M.S., PHA, Past Excellent High Priest, of King David Chapter No 29. He presently is serving as
District Deputy Grand Master of the Third Masonic District, past, DDGHP, of H.R.A.M. past, Deputy of the Oasis of Elejmal
Temple No. 185, presently serving as WP of Starlight Chapter #74 and President of Harriet Tubman Housing Poughkeepsie
NY. R.W. Gilliard received his 33º and last degree in Denver, Colorado in May of 1990.
R.W. Gilliard retired from IBM in 1997 after 30Yrs of service, he was a Senior Mechanical Engineering Designer. R.W.
Gilliard has served as a part time instructor at IBM, teaching Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.

University for freshman and sophomore years, graduated from C.C.N.Y. with a B.S. in psychology.

RW Philip F. Howard
District Deputy Grand Master - 3rd District
RW Philip F. Howard, one of six siblings, was born to Thomas and Lillie Howard on February 7 in Cornwall, New York.
He is a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy High School, located in Newburgh, NY. RW Howard received his BBA from
Adelphi University in 1985. While attending Adelphi University, he became a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc,
the first Black Greek letter organization for college men. He is also a member of the International Business Fraternity,
Delta Sigma Pi.
Upon leaving Adelphi University, he worked in the Insurance field, as an Associate Claims Adjustor and as an
Account Sales Executive. In 1990, he became a member of the City of Newburgh Fire Department, and is now a proud
retiree from that Municipality.
He started his Masonic career in 1986, when he was entered, passed and raised to the Sublime degree of Master Mason
into Masada Lodge #115 on March 22 of that year. He also became a Sublime Prince of Pentecost Consistory #98 in
Ossining, N.Y. later in the same year of 1986. He is a Past Master of Masada Lodge #115, Past DDGL in the Third Masonic
District, and during the years 2006-07 served as President of the Third Masonic District. He is a PHP of King David #29,
and also Past Potentate of Elejmal Temple #185. He is currently serving as the Imperial Organizer of the Desert of New
York for the AEAONMS. He had the honor of receiving his 33rd and last degree of the AASR of the United Supreme
Council, as a member of the Carl L. Wilson Class of 2007. Currently RW Philip F. Howard serves the Most Worshipful
Prince Hall Grand Lodge as a District Deputy Grand Master in the 3rd Masonic District.
In addition to his extensive Masonic involvements, Bro Howard attends the Baptist Temple Church of God in Christ in

RW Robinson was born on April 4, in Boston, MA. He is the son of Richard L. and Dorothea E. Robinson, both of Brooklyn, NY.
His childhood was spent in Brooklyn, NY where he attended the local public schools. He attended Baruch College, New York, NY
majoring in Accounting. Drafted into the Armed Forces in 1968 he spent 2 years in military service, serving in Vietnam and
Fort Knox, KY.
Recently married to the former Ella L. Moses, a Past Matron of Meridian Chapter #67, OES, they have a total of
5 children and 6 grandchildren. They attend Metropolitan A.M.E Church in Harlem, NY.
His leisure activities were white water rafting, playing in a rock & roll steel band and performing tax services
for the general public. He has worked as an Accountant for the past 35 years and is currently the Director of
Payroll for the Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY.
In March 1996, he received the E.A. degree in Beacon Light Lodge #76 of the MWPHGL of NY. He served as WM of
the Lodge in the years 2001 and 2002 and has been the Secretary of the Lodge for the past 8 years.
He has served the offices of Excellent High Priest of Widow's Son Chapter #1, HRAM, Commander-in-Chief of
